The course is easy to navigate and very playable from tee to green for all golfers, even if you are just starting out. The beautiful views of the Indian Ocean or the springbucks roaming the course may distract you, but they will most certainly leave you with lasting memories. The signature hole at Mossel Bay Golf Course is the 17th hole, which is a par 5. At 494 meters and shot 2, it can be challenging, especially when playing into the sea breeze. The tee is located high above the fairway with magnificent views of the estate, and the hole slopes down to the green with the Indian Ocean as a backdrop. Well-placed bunkers along the side of the fairway will catch any tee shots. The green is a large, undulating, three-tiered green, making a par 5 on the hole uncertain if you find the green with your approach shot.
