The Legend - Mauritius This 6,018 m par 72 course has put Mauritius on the world map of golf destinations since its opening in January 1994. Designed by South African champion Hugh Baiocchi, it stretches over 70 hectares in a former deer reserve, where deer still roam. Part of the Constance Belle Mare Plage, the Legend golf course is exclusively reserved for hotel guests; they do not have to pay green fees. Each hole holds its own challenge, leaving the golfer no opportunity to relax before reaching the 18th hole near the Clubhouse with its superb bar and restaurant. Hole 17, 152 m above the tranquil waters of the lagoon, is the Legend's signature hole.
