The Mazamet - La Barouge golf course stretches 5,635 m over 54 ha. Two rivers intertwine here: the Thoré to the west and the Issalès, which crosses it from east to west. The golf course could just as easily be a botanical park, an arboretum. A non-exhaustive list of its trees and shrubs, drawn up in 1991 by Philippe Durand of the Castraises Society of Natural Sciences, listed no fewer than 21 local species and 53 imported species! Add to that the Montagne Noire, which serves as its backdrop, and you will find one of the most beautiful golf courses in the region. This 18-hole course offers all the golfer's shot varieties.
